Field-service software compared, independently. We don't take money to rank tools.
Most of the “best of” lists in this market are written by the vendors selling the software. FieldVerdictis the opposite of that. We're independent, and the goal is simple: tell you what a tool really costs, who it suits, and where it'll let you down.
How we research
So far we've gone through 19 real field-service tools across 13 trades. For each one we dig into the pricing and pricing model, the features, integrations, mobile support, and what the free trial actually gets you, then write up the good and the bad. We revisit it as things change.
How we rank
The ranking is our call, not the vendors'. What we weigh most is whether a tool actually fits the job. A product with clear pricing and a low barrier to entry for a small shop tends to land near the top. A quote-only enterprise platform gets ranked for the bigger teams it's built for. On pricing
Plenty of vendors keep their prices off the page. When that's the case, we tell you, and we mark any estimate with an asterisk (*) rather than make up a tidy figure. A clean number means the vendor publishes it themselves.
